The Arizona sports betting market reached record numbers in recent months. As a result, many sportsbooks want to be part of it. One of them is Betfred, which made its Arizona sports wagering debut Monday. 

On Tuesday, the Arizona Department of Gaming uncovered a record $499.2 million was wagered in December.

December's AZ record handle is up almost 7% from November's $466.7 million and an increment of 2.7 percent contrasted with October's past record of $486.1 million.

In December, Betfred sent off stands at the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Fort McDowell. The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation owns the resort, which got a permit in August 2021.  According to NFL betting tutorials and news sites, they are one of the initial 18 Arizona sports wagering licenses. 

There is a transitory wagering station in the WKP Sports and Entertainment Sports Bar. Later this late spring, a long-lasting retail sportsbook will open at the resort.

In January, the Arizona Coyotes sent off SaharaBets, while Hard Rock Digital reported its association with the Navajo Nation.
